    Good afternoon All,

I was curious if the photographs regarding the SAMSON 12 hp diesel engine were received on your side of the “pond”, and if there were any comments on them or information regarding this diesel engine.

    Thank You,

Hej.

    Good Morning!

Yes Sir, I have several photographs of this engine. I do not see a way to “attach” the photos to this email. Is there another email address to which I can attach the photos? I would really like to send them to you.

Also, I was mistaken with the information that I gave to you guys regarding the manufacturer.

The engine has the following information cast into the side of the frame:

    Hammerbo

    Engineering Works

    Roskilde Denmark

    Thanks!

    Hello Brad Ludwig

A lot of Danish engines were build under licens – somtimes it is difficult to find the original factory.
If you do have some pictures of the Samson Engine it is possible to find more than none informations.

    Regards
    Niels Mygind

    Good Day,

Sorry for not speaking Danish. I have found an old Samson diesel engine in Brasil.

It is horizontal format, sideshaft engine.

The tag says 12 hp “COLD START DIESEL ENGINE”

The casting has the information SAMSON ENGINE WORKS, Rasussen Denmark.

This appears to be a very heavy engine and seems to be “mostly” complete!

Does anyone have any information regarding these engines? I cannot find anything on the internet regarding this engine. The only similar engines seems to have been built in Stockton California, but they all seems to be gasoline only.

I would REALLY appreciate any information at all regarding these engines or the company from Denmark.

    Thank You!

    Brad Ludwig
